Dr James Edward Mills (M)

MB ChB (Birmingham 1992) MRCGP (2007)

Dr Mills is Senior Partner for the Practice since April 2022.  He is also a GP Trainer & Supervisor for Registrars.

Dr Walter Harvey Freeman (M)

MB ChB (Leeds 1991)
Dr Freeman is our Clinical Lead for Heart Failure, Stoke

TIA and Atrial Fibrillation. Dr Freeman is a GP Registrar Trainer and also has an interest in giving steroid joint injections

Dr Anisa Malik (F)

MBBS (London 2004) FRCGP DRCOG DFSRH MCPC

Dr Malik is a Partner at the Practice and has a specialist interest in Menopause care,  Family Planning, Coils & Implants.

She also leads on Medical Student teaching for Nottingham University Medical School.

Dr Patrick Law (M)

Dr Patrick Law is a Partner at the Practice. 

He is also a Safeguarding Children Lead.  He has a specialist interest in steroid joint injections.

Dr Kathryn West (F)

Dr West became a Partner on 1st May 2017.   She is well known to the practice as she was a Registrar and then a Salaried Partner before becoming a Partner. 

She has a specialist interest in Dermatology and Cryotherapy & excisions. She is also GP Trainer for Registrars

Dr Helena Wagstaff (F)

Dr Wagstaff became a Partner on 1st January 2018.   She was well known to the practice already as she was a Registrar and then a Salaried Partner before becoming a Partner. 

She also leads on Palliative Care and Safeguarding Children. 

Dr Thyvanai Dodd (F)

Dr Dodd became a Partner on 1st May 2020

She was well known to the practice already as she was a Salaried GP before becoming a Partner. 

Dr Ahmad Sikandari (M)

Dr Sikandari has been a Salaried GP with Orchard since April 2021, from 30th March 2023 he became a Partner working 3 days a week.

Non-urgent advice: Community Nurses

Within the surgery the Practice has community nurses who are employed by County Health Partnerships.

Their role is to provide nursing care to patients who are too unwell to leave their homes and for patients who require treatment following a stay in hospital.

These nurses work in close liaison with the doctors who refer patients to them

The Health Visitor works in partnership with individuals of all ages and with families. Information is provided on food health, including pre-school child development screening, assessing health needs and referral to other services as appropriate. Each Health Visitor is a registered nurse

Rebecca Tate is our Practice Manager, she has over 25 years experience working at Orchard.  She work’s closely with the Doctors, Nurses & administrative team in the day to day management of the Practice.

Non-urgent advice: Counsellors

The Practice is able to provide patients with counselling sessions via Lets Talk Wellbeing Service.  These counsellors can help with emotional problems such as bereavement, stress management problems etc.

Your Doctor or Primary Health Care Team can arrange an appointment for you if appropriate. Counselling sessions are completely confidential
