If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

We operate a home visiting policy when required for patients who are elderly, immobile or deemed by the doctor too ill to attend surgery.

To request a home visit where possible you need to telephone the Practice before 11.00 am and unless it is an emergency, please give details and a brief description of the problem to enable the doctor to determine the degree of urgency

Non-urgent advice: Notice

A doctor or nurse may telephone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice or it might appropriate to send a nurse or arrange a hospital attendance

Remember, each home visit takes four or five times as long as a surgery consultation so we appreciate if patients try as hard as possible to come to the Practice. Visits are at the discretion of the Doctors
